For those of you who don’t know—I watch a lot of beauty videos on YouTube. (For a time, I was even making some of my own. I know, crazy. But that hobby fell to the wayside pretty fast.) Anyway, I’ve seen a bunch of beauty gurus do this “I <3 Fall" tag recently and since I do absolutely love fall (it's my favorite season!) I felt like answering them for myself.

Without further ado, here they are:

1. Favorite Fall lip product?
   Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint in Envy, Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Vintage Pink, MAC Lipstick in What Joy! (limited edition from last Christmas)
2. Favorite Fall Nail Polish?
   Dark, burgundy reds, dark teals or dark purples are my favorites to wear.
3. Favorite Starbucks Fall Drink?
   Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate or Mocha
4. Favorite Fall Candle?
   Leaves from Bath & Body Works
5. Favorite Fall accessory?
   Scarves!
6. Haunted house, haunted hay ride, or haunted corn maze?
   Haunted House
7. Favorite Halloween movie?
   Nightmare Before Christmas (or really any Tim Burton film)
8. Favorite candy to eat on Halloween?
   Candy corn
9. What are you dressing up as for Halloween!?
   Sadly as I will be in England this year and they don’t really celebrate Halloween like we do here in the US, nothing. :(
10. What is your favorite thing about Fall?
    The weather and the fashion it requires. I love layering and fall jackets and tights and boots! I’m lucky enough that San Francisco weather is pretty much perpetual Fall. (For the most part, anyway.)

Unfortunately the photo is really yellow-y, the polish is much more green-looking in real life.

As most girls do, I love shopping. I love it a lot, and thus I have a lot of clothes. In fact, I have an entire 3-door closet (sliding, sadly not a walk in) and a large 8-drawer dresser full of clothes. (Which doesn’t even include my 4-drawer unmentionables dresser!) The problem, though, is that I still have a lot of clothes that I’ve had since college (in some cases even high school, *cringe*) and I honestly am over the jeans-and-t-shirt look. Sure, it’s comfortable, but I feel like I’m still in college when I wear it. I want to get rid of most of my t-shirts, keeping only the ones I really love and replacing them with tops that I feel suit my personality and my vision of my “personal style” more.

Personal Style—It’s a word that haunts some people because they feel they can’t decide what they want or stick to one look! It’s hard, seriously, figuring out not only what you like (and don’t like) but also what works with your body type and coloring (skin/hair/eyes). (Same goes for figuring out what makeup looks right too, actually.)

I felt like wearing a spring-inspired bright color today, so I chose teal which is one of my favorites!

This is actually not the nail design I have on my nails right this second, but it is what I had done when I went in for my last manicure about a week and a half ago.

Colors are Turned Up Turquoise by China Glaze, provided by my manicurist, as the base and Wallis by Butter London, which is my own polish, for the designs. I loved the combo, which is something I wouldn’t have normally paired together!
